When I first began volunteering at the senior care home, I felt a bit nervous because I wasn’t sure what to expect. I also worried about whether the seniors would be friendly and willing to talk with me, and whether I would be able to communicate clearly with them.
During my volunteer work, I had many memorable experiences. Some of the highlights were dancing folk dances with the seniors and visiting the pumpkins together.
Volunteering has been very meaningful for me. It gives me the chance to help others, learn new skills, and connect with people I wouldn’t normally meet. It also allows me to feel gratitude and to make a positive impact on someone’s life.
